Our regular appearance at Rugby Evening Fair (our local toyfair and where we began our trading life) one of the smaller fairs but always worth a look, a very pleasant evening.

Saturday 28th May - Monday 30th May 2016
Cotswold Festival Of Steam, Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Steam Railway, The Railway Station, Toddington, Gloucestershire, GL54 5DT.

We make our 3rd visit to the ever popular Cotswold Festival Of Steam at the Gloucestershire & Warwickshire Steam Railway. This years event has a made in Swindon theme to it to celebrate 175 years since locomotive construction commenced at Swindon Works.

The railway is bringing in three guest locos all built at the famous works they are:
  1. British Railways 9F No. 92214 (from the Great Central Railway)
  2. LMS/BR Ivatt 2 No. 46521 (from the GCR, now in green livery)
  3. GWR Manor No. 7812 Earlstoke Manor (from the Severn Valley Railway)
As well as locos from the home fleet:
  1. GWR Manor No. 7820 Dinmore Manor
  2. GWR Modified Hall No. 7903 Foremarke Hall (returning from overhaul)
  3. GWR 42xx 2-8-0T No. 4270
  4. GWR 28xx 2-8-0 No. 2807
  5. Southern Merchant Navy No. 35006 P&O Lines (returning from overhaul)
The event promises to have an intense timetable, with brake van and footplate rides available. We will be in the traders marquee at Toddington Station (located in what is normally the car park)

Saturday 4th June 2016 10Am-5PM
Statfold Barn Railway Enthusiasts Day. The Grain Store, Ashby Road, Tamworth, Staffordshire, B79 0BU. 
Admission: £10 (by prior booking only)

After making our debut at Statfold Barn last month we make our return for their Enthusiasts Day. Statfold Barn is a private railway and only opens to the public 3 times a year. Often boasting more than 10 narrow gauge locomotives in steam. We have put this event in with the May events as if you wish to attend this event you must get tickets in advance and the site does not admit under 14s.
